Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 2 years professional experience in construction or maintenance related field
• Ability to work within a collaborative team structure
• Excellent customer service skills including conflict resolution and strong oral and written communication abilities
• Ability to learn and train on CRM tools and apps
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Assist the Warranty Manager with ensuring that all warranty-related needs of assigned communities are met
• Serve as a Van Metre presence within communities during business hours
• Assist the Warranty Manager with meeting departmental Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”) including: Ticket cycle time, Customer satisfaction/survey performance, Budget/Purchase Orders
• Serve as a point of contact for homeowner communications, ensuring timely and effective responses
• Serve as Van Metre Warranty presence at all Homeowner Reveals within assigned communities
• Develop skills needed to evaluate warranty item concerns and successfully identify their root cause and determine if warranty coverage applies
• Schedule and supervise item resolution efforts with trade partners, homeowners, and Van Metre teammates
• Provide detailed documentation of warranty items, efforts, and resolutions
• Utilize mobile devices, HubSpot software, apps, and other software to track and document team activities and efforts
• Proactively serve our homeowners during their experience with Van Metre, ensuring resolution of all concerns
• Complete Van Metre’s Warranty Training Program
• Continue to train on warranty process, systems, and standards
