Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field of study
- Five (5) years of experience with middleware integration tools
- Experience designing enterprise applications and web services with distributed architecture using Java, J2ee, and Mulesoft
- Experience with Soap and RESTful web services using both XML and JSON
- Experience with OOD, design patterns, data structures, API development, and cloud deployments
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end business services technical delivery for specific applications
- Lead several large and mid-sized business applications
- Deliver Global Business Services frameworks and solutions for the company’s underwriting platform
- Lead Global Business Services Center of Excellence (COE) to implement best practices for developing cloud native services
- Provide technical leadership on application delivery for strategic projects
- Ensure technical solutions meet business needs
- Assist in the development of guidelines, recommend best practices to mitigate defects, ensure code quality, and conduct code reviews
- Build scalable and extensible business application programming interface (API) ecosystems
- Work with middleware integration tools; designing enterprise applications and web services with distributed architecture using Java, J2ee, and Mulesoft; Soap; RESTful web services using both XML and JSON; OOD; design patterns; data structures; API development; and cloud deployments.
