Requirements
- M.A. or PhD in Communication or closely allied area with a focus on Corporate Communication, Strategic Communication, and/or Public Relations by the appointment start date.
- Experience working with or teaching quantitative and qualitative research methods is a plus.
- Evidence of innovative teaching at the college level.
- A demonstrated record of working effectively with students from diverse backgrounds, including those with varying levels of academic preparation.
Responsibilities
- Teach four assigned courses (12 credits) each semester using traditional, hybrid, and/or fully online delivery modes.
- Advise and provide career guidance to students.
- Participate in program, campus, university, and community service activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Organizational scholars and practitioners working in the areas of public relations, AI, persuasion and advocacy, community relations, or mediated communication.
