Requirements
- At least one year of teaching experience
- Expertise in exercise physiology, exercise prescription for healthy people across the lifespan and individuals with chronic disease, exercise testing using field and laboratory methods, physical activity promotion, expertise in fitness and wellness testing and administration, program management and electrocardiogram interpretation
- An earned doctorate in Kinesiology or a related area is preferred
- Computer skills
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
- Ability to mentor undergraduate students
Responsibilities
- Management of the Center for Fitness and Wellness (CFW)
- Train, supervise and assess student interns of the CFW
- Assist in coordination of the Exercise is Medicine – On Campus initiative
- Development and leadership of on- and off-campus fitness and wellness outreach activities throughout the academic year
