Requirements
- Candidates must have a doctoral degree in computer science or a closely related field.
- The successful candidate will have a background in algorithms, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or data science.
Responsibilities
- Teach 9 credit hours per semester, with a reduced load for the first two years.
- Offer introductory computer science courses and upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses in specified areas.
- Participate in recruitment and retention activities.
- Advise undergraduate and graduate students.
- Supervise capstone and honor’s projects, and supervise graduate student culminating experiences.
- Serve on committees at the department, school, and college level.
- Promote and advance the school’s commitment to education and diversity in STEM.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preference will be given to candidates who have prior teaching experience.
