Requirements
- APA-approved PhD (or PsyD) in clinical (or counseling) psychology and clinical internship
- Postdoctoral fellowship in child clinical psychology or neuropsychology
- Licensure in Florida (or license-eligible)
- Board certification (or board eligible) in clinical psychology
- Relevant clinical experience in the field of child psychological and neuropsychological assessment and child maltreatment
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments of children and adolescents for various learning, behavioral, and emotional problems
- Conduct psychological assessments of children who are alleged victims of or witnesses to abuse or neglect
- Provide clinical supervision of psychology trainees and social workers
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss and review cases
- Present findings from evaluations in written form and testify in court as needed
- Participate in clinical research activities
- Participate in education and training of psychology trainees, medical students, and pediatric residents and fellows
- Participate in psychology internship selection committee and faculty meetings
