Requirements

  • APA-approved PhD (or PsyD) in clinical (or counseling) psychology and clinical internship
  • Postdoctoral fellowship in child clinical psychology or neuropsychology
  • Licensure in Florida (or license-eligible)
  • Board certification (or board eligible) in clinical psychology
  • Relevant clinical experience in the field of child psychological and neuropsychological assessment and child maltreatment

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments of children and adolescents for various learning, behavioral, and emotional problems
  • Conduct psychological assessments of children who are alleged victims of or witnesses to abuse or neglect
  • Provide clinical supervision of psychology trainees and social workers
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss and review cases
  • Present findings from evaluations in written form and testify in court as needed
  • Participate in clinical research activities
  • Participate in education and training of psychology trainees, medical students, and pediatric residents and fellows
  • Participate in psychology internship selection committee and faculty meetings
