Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. (foreign equivalent acceptable)
- 36 months of residency training in internal medicine
- 36 months of fellowship training in hematology/oncology
- board-certified or board-eligible in internal medicine
- Ohio Medical License or eligible for licensure in Ohio
- DEA certificate
- requires successful completion of a background check
Responsibilities
- clinical teaching in Medical Oncology for residents, fellows, medical students, undergraduate and graduate students, nursing staff, and other allied medical professionals
- patient care in Medical Oncology
- embark on a program of research and obtain external funding
- ensure continuing education requirements are met
- participate in department, college, medical center and university committees and other service activities
