Requirements
- Completed a PhD (ABD may be considered) in Applied Linguistics or a related discipline (e.g., Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Speech & Hearing Sciences, TESL, Second Language Acquisition)
- Record of successful teaching and research experience in one or more of the following areas: speech language and hearing sciences; communication disorders; applied linguistics; TESL
- Experience teaching ESL to adult learners (for applicants with an academic background focused on TESL)
Responsibilities
- Teach eight courses in areas related to applied linguistics and/or speech sciences during the period of appointment
- Primarily teach undergraduate level courses, with a possibility of also teaching a graduate level course
