Requirements
- Ph.D. in Communication by time of appointment
- Demonstrated proficiency in social media, digital advertising, content marketing, and data analytics
Responsibilities
- Teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in online, asynchronous instruction
- Maintain active engagement with industry partners to bring current trends and best practices into the classroom
- Train students to become strategic communicators and content creators for industry
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching in a variety of delivery formats, including 100% asynchronous online, hybrid, and face-to-face modalities
- Ability to effectively engage with both undergraduate and graduate students
- Experience teaching in one or more of the following areas: Web Design, Podcasting, Audio Production, Persuasion, Public Relations, Communication Theory, and/or Research
