Requirements
- 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a restaurant environment
- Valid Pro Serve certification required
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Extreme organization in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a large and variable workload, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned work
- Available Weekends, Holidays, and Evenings
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
Responsibilities
- Champion a guest-first culture that celebrates exceptional food, wine, and hospitality
- Collaborate with fellow managers to ensure smooth restaurant operations and performance
- Lead all aspects of restaurant management including: Recruitment, onboarding, and training of team members, Ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance management; Scheduling, payroll, invoicing, and inventory management; Vendor communications and ordering
- Conducting Health & Safety meetings and ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Maintain high levels of team productivity and morale through effective leadership and communication
- Build and sustain strong relationships with guests, suppliers, staff, and senior leadership
- Clearly communicate the restaurant’s vision and expectations to the team and lead by example on and off the floor
- Uphold and model high personal standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethics
- Promote the restaurant and its values within the community and beyond
- Support with other duties and initiatives as required
