Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 5+ years of automotive experience in sales, operations, and/or logistics
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced role, while providing innovation and diversity of thought to strategic processes and opportunities
  • Familiar with or have a general understanding of field sales and/or dealer operations and processes
  • Effective presentation and communication skills, ability to influence without authority as well as work with all levels of the enterprise
  • Independently analyze and identify solutions through data
  • Project management and organization skills to efficiently and effectively drive business solutions
  • Ability to work in ambiguity and a sense of urgency and keep the customer at the center of everything we do

Responsibilities

  • Support primary Distribution Managers in resolving distribution related issues such as delays-in-transit and ordering inquiries.
  • Support reoccurring processes including invoice rejects, delayed vehicle invoices, cash hold processes, damage in-transit notifications, buy/sell inventory support, Strategic Target Market Initiative (STMI) and coverage for Distribution Managers, when needed
  • Support consistent communications, and support to the field team in the distribution and order-to-delivery space.
  • Act as a liaison with Order Fulfillment, Logistics, Finance, invoicing and systems teams, dealer contractual etc. to manage processes in support of order-to-delivery.
  • Support dealership buy-sell, termination and add-point activities including management of regional vehicle warehouse accounts
  • Serve as an essential member of a Distribution Center of Excellence team that will focus on refining current processes, identifying efficiency opportunities and developing proactive communication and resolution measures to the field
  • Support special projects as required
  • Establish / develop functional relationships with key contacts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with sales, invoicing, and vehicle tracking applications
  • Experience with tools: VTIMS, Order Workbench, BARS, OTDS, Freight Verify
