Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a public company or public accounting firm required.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field; CPA or MBA a plus.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Extensive ERP experience, Oracle Fusion experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong analytical skills, with a sharp focus on details.
Responsibilities
- Direct daily tasks of Accounts Payable staff and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoice postings and payments, identifying items of urgency and priority.
- Prepare and/or conduct detailed reviews of journal entries, account reconciliations, and fluctuation analysis for all accounts payable related accounts.
- Collaborates with internal and external customers to proactively identify, research and resolve processing issues.
- Builds and maintains business relationships with internal and external partners improving customer satisfaction and ensuring commitments are met.
- Measure the productivity of the staff to streamline processes and promote efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Support maintenance of desktop procedures to ensure current processes are accurately documented.
- Assist in corporate quarterly and annual auditors’ reviews with regards to accounts payable, provide reconciliation support to help facilitate an optimal audit process.
- Develop and maintain processes and internal controls for accounts payable operations identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Assist in leading globalization efforts that aim to standardize accounts payable operations and increase efficiencies across the globally distributed team.
- Support financial analysis and forecasting activities, working closely with other departments, including FP&A to provide insights into business performance.
- Provide strong leadership, coaching and training to the accounts payable team, fostering professional development and growth.
- Participate in special projects, analysis, and ad-hoc tasks as required by management.
- Support ERP and technology initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or MBA a plus.
