Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with various hand tools
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Load and operate Dexter feeder
- Set up, adjust, and operate metal sheet feeder and register table
- Assist in setting up and adjusting Litho press, coater, and oven
- Assist in placing ink and/or coating material in machines
- Assist in washing up Litho press and coater
- Change press plates and/or blanket
- Straighten wickets
- Report operational difficulties to press operator or supervisor
- Use waste sheets in setting up a press
- Prepare materials for subsequent orders
- Record process and production records
- Obtain viscosity readings, film weights, set oven temperature and dampen press
- Keep assigned work area neat and clean; clean equipment as required
- Relieve as required
- Communicate between fellow workers and supervisors needed information to keep process flowing to qualify and production standards
- Follow all Plant food safety procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Lithographic experience preferred
