Requirements
- Previous Laundry experience in a similar environment
- Good oral and written English communication skills
Responsibilities
- Check with Housekeeping management team for the list of names of VIP and other guests and inform Valet Attendants of the same. Instruct the Valet Attendants to greet as many guests as possible using their names.
- Supervise the Valet & Laundry Attendants as well as Seamstress and Linen Porter that have been assigned to the assigned work areas.
- Inspect all guest laundered items and employees’ uniform the standard of cleanliness, missing buttons and any other repairs required. Report any problems to the Valet Attendants and Seamstress.
- Inspect all VIP and Special Attention laundered items very carefully, ensuring that all special requests have been completed.
- Guide and train Valet & Laundry Attendants as well as Linen Porter and Seamstress under the direction of the Housekeeping Management team.
- Update Training manuals with new procedures and seek approval from the Housekeeping Management team.
Preferred Qualifications
- College education preferred or equivalent experience
