Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory/management role directly managing people and at least 4 years experience of food & beverage, restaurant and/or hospitality.
• Virginia Driver’s License.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Thorough knowledge of food and beverage industry.
• Sound analytical skills (mathematics, organization, etc.).
• Ability to manage people in a high-stress, fast-paced working environment.
• Basic to Intermediate level proficiency in office-related software.

Responsibilities

• Directly manages all front of house operations and performance.
• Oversees and manages scheduling and leave requests.
• Responsible for hiring, onboarding, interviewing, and training all FOH staff.
• Creates an environment where guests feel welcomed upon arrival and throughout experience.
• Make sure that employees are properly trained so that cleanliness and sanitation are consistently achieved.
• Control cash and other receipts by abiding by all company policies and procedures.
• May make hiring/termination decisions in lieu of General Manager in consultation with human resources.
• Complete all relevant paperwork in a timely manner (permits, licenses, reports, forms, invoices, etc.) and performance appraisals for staff.
• Responsible for overseeing FOH inventory processes (retail, paper, mixers, non-alc, tobacco, and all alcohol including ABC month end).
• Management and training of all FOH computer systems (waitlist management software, POS software, music systems, etc.).
• Oversee payroll accuracy.
• Fully understand and adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to health and safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
