Requirements
- At least 2 years of prior relevant experience in a restaurant leadership role within a luxury, fine-dining and/or high volume setting.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Asian cuisines and cultures is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily restaurant operations, including fiscal budgets, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory management, guest service standards, and marketing strategies to drive short-term and long-term profitability.
- Assist the General Manager in executing the restaurant’s business plan and implementing strategic initiatives to achieve operational and financial targets.
- Engage with guests frequently to enhance their dining experience, promptly addressing concerns, and ensuring a world-class level of hospitality.
- Assist the restaurant service staff and management team with any guest accommodations and to-go orders, as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, employment laws, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Collaborate with the culinary team and General Manager to create a seamless dining experience between the kitchen and the dining room.
- Oversee payroll tasks, training programs, operating procedures, and company-wide initiatives to maintain a culture of excellence.
- Ensure the restaurant adheres to the highest standards of health, sanitation, and cleanliness.
- Possess expert knowledge of food & beverage products, menu items, and equipment used within the restaurant.
