Requirements
- At least 2 years previous experience in a supervisory or management level position in Food & Beverage.
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Strong leadership & organizational skills required
- Successful candidates must possess the ability to work in Canada
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, control and direct the work of employees in the Food & Beverage Division (including Sidecut Restaurant and Bar, In Room Dining, Pool and/or Banquets, Braidwood Café and other Food & Beverage activation and pop-ups, while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Train, evaluate, lead, motivate, and coach staff to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
- Visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
- Reports to the Restaurant Manager.
- Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the F&B Departments to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
- Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for F&B outlets.
- The ability to work closely with F&B leadership to design effective menus and amenity options while ensuring excellent product quality at a fair price.
- Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met as well as attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
- Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
- Responsibility with employee scheduling proper and sufficient staffing while keeping labor standards.
- Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in other areas of the Resort.
