Requirements
- Completed a US-approved residency in Anesthesiology or equivalent training and certification
- Board Eligibility or Certification in Anesthesiology is required
Responsibilities
- Perform various cases including orthopedics, GYN, community OB, abdominal, and general vascular cases
- Supervise trainees and CRNAs
- Perform cases independently if required
- Participate in academic activities including teaching and mentoring trainees
- Participate in departmental conferences and faculty meetings
- Expected to take 3-4 overnight calls per month, with some calls from home
- Limited need for evening and weekend calls
- Effort distribution may change based on department needs, candidate’s interests, and success in obtaining extramural grant funding
