Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within two (2) years of graduation
- Eligible for an unrestricted Nevada Medical License (Nevada Medical license must be secured prior to start date)
- Malpractice insurance
- Able to be successfully credentialed by Southern Nevada teaching hospitals and clinics
Responsibilities
- Supervise internal medicine residents on inpatient medical service and in an ambulatory setting
- Engage in didactic teaching of students and residents
- Maintain a practice of internal medicine delivering care to patients
- Attend the inpatient medical service
- Devote time to scholarly activities
