Requirements
- Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, or other closely related field
- Experience and demonstrated interest in active collaboration in biomedical and public health research including animal studies, clinical trials, and population studies
- Demonstrated experience in novel statistical methods and study design methods
Responsibilities
- Work in close collaboration with Principal Investigators to provide biostatistical support for federal grant applications and funded research studies
- Develop research questions
- Assess the feasibility of outcomes
- Design clinical experiments and interventional studies to generate and analyze data
- Work with teams to appropriately interpret the results
Preferred Qualifications
- Record of genuine interest in interdisciplinary collaborations in translational research
- Innovative methodological research
- Successful record of extramural funding support
