Requirements
- Terminal degree in athletic training, biomechanics, exercise science, or other related field
- Good standing with the Board of Certification in athletic training
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri
- Ability to verbalize understanding of complex problems or situations
- Well-developed written communication skills
- Ability to communicate diplomatically, clearly, and effectively with students and co-workers
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to use current technology to enhance effectiveness including but not limited to computers, computer-assisted instruction programs, and audio-visual equipment
Responsibilities
- Teach the equivalent of 4 courses (12 credit hours) each semester
- Advise and mentor students
- Continue to develop expertise through research and scholarship
- Participate in faculty governance and campus life
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing and teaching courses in therapeutic modalities, rehabilitation, and/or biomechanics
