Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in public, private, or government accounting required
- Knowledge of general accounting methods and techniques
- Knowledge of basic accounts payable concepts
- Ability to use clearly prescribed standard practices which require the making of minor decisions and use of good judgment
- Good mathematical and computer skills
- Good communication skills
Responsibilities
- Process payables requests as received, auditing for accuracy and for compliance with Company policy, procedures, and objectives
- Originate Company journal entries using accepted general ledger entry techniques
- Reconcile general ledger accounts as directed
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 year degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or Business Administration preferred
