Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 1+ year of industry experience preferred (asset management, fund finance, fixed-income, legal preferred)
  • Strong analytical and technical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written
  • Ability to stay organized, multi-task and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Supporting senior team members in the origination, negotiation, and execution of debt facilities (incl. term sheets and loan agreements)
  • Preparing marketing material for debt origination (lender presentations, collateral analysis, committee documents, transaction pipeline, etc.)
  • Managing and streamlining debt origination / marketing processes, lender due-diligence, and loan closing processes
  • Communicating with lenders and brokers throughout the loan origination and closing process
  • Collaborating with other teams involved in the management of transactions post-loan closing
  • Liaising with the real estate acquisition and asset management teams
  • Tracking/reporting/analyzing detailed loan performance metrics
  • Creating management presentations/responding to ad hoc requests and preparing analyses for same
  • Supporting/furthering technology initiatives related to the above responsibilities
  • Additional responsibilities will be based on the needs of the business and the candidate’s specific skills
