Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 6 to 10 years of experience in fixed income client coverage (must have experience in this space)
- Deep knowledge and interest in fixed income markets and investment management.
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills – high energy and enthusiasm
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and detail oriented.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn and retain new concepts.
- Must obtain FINRA SIE, Series 7, and 63 licenses within 3 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining an understanding of GSAM’s Fixed Income Solutions investment strategies, portfolio construction methodologies, and performance attribution.
- Support the CPM team in responding to inquiries from sales teams, financial advisors, and clients related to portfolio positioning, performance, market outlook, and product platform.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of marketing materials, including presentations, commentaries, and website content. Contribute to the creation of thematic content.
- Support the CPM team in preparing materials for client meetings, conference calls, and due diligence sessions.
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing fixed income markets and economic indicators. Contribute to the development of investment insights and market commentary.
- Assist in the preparation of client-specific portfolio reviews and performance reports.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, strategists, and engineers on various team-related projects.
- Assist in educating internal and external audiences on our focused SMA products.
- Conduct data analysis to support investment decision-making and client reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency and streamline processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship or relevant coursework in finance or investments is a plus.
