Requirements
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business in marketing, communications, or related fields
- Demonstrates enthusiasm for energy transition and sustainability, backed by a solid academic record (GPA)
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to analyze data, create reports, and present technical insights effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and passion for Energy transition
Responsibilities
- Support and manage various asset management tasks, including site operations, revenue collection, accounts payable, financial reporting, compliance reporting, contract management, budgeting, and financial modeling
- Learn and understand New York Community solar revenue and payment workflows with National Intelligence Grid and NYSEG, identifying key challenges and areas for improvement
- Propose a structured payment and reporting reconciliation solution to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency in community solar projects
- Work closely with the Asset Management Team to create, amend, and implement Standards of Operations for regular asset management tasks, ensuring consistency and efficiency
- Identify opportunities to improve asset management processes, enhance operational efficiency and financial accuracy
- Engage with various teams, including finance, operations, and compliance, to align asset management strategies with business objectives
