Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 5-7+ years of experience in a management role within manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience effectively managing a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work both strategically and hands-on.
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office; experience with Infor M3 is a plus.
- Strong quantitative analysis skills and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with the ability to execute tactically on a day-to-day basis.
- Working knowledge of CAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of the bath/plumbing industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assess and refine current assembly processes, implementing best practices to maintain high operational standards.
- Provide hands-on leadership and technical expertise to the assembly team.
- Ensure all products meet established client and company quality standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
- Establish, manage, and maintain metal finishing and assembly standards to drive operational success.
- Develop and oversee essential programs related to assembly, such as training, safety, housekeeping, cost reduction, and security.
- Lead and manage a team of associates, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Conceptualize and design tooling fixtures to enhance assembly processes.
- Apply process improvement methodologies to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with Quality and Procurement teams to evaluate best practices and insights across the supply chain team.
- Establish and maintain metrics for all aspects of operations and partner with Finance to provide weekly and monthly reporting.
- Conduct monthly reviews with external vendors to review quality, performance, and service standards.
- Provide one-on-one technical support and guidance to team members.
- Monitor team performance to ensure manufacturing goals align with company objectives.
- Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate staff while exemplifying Waterworks’ core values.
- Demonstrate passion for the Waterworks brand and products.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the bath/plumbing industry is a plus.
