Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Information Technology that includes acting as a senior solution architect for major systems like those mentioned above and/or enterprise architect, and leading teams of architects.
- 6+ years as an enterprise level business/information/process/technology architect
- Experience implementing global processes and practices for architecture, to include documenting or creating governance and standards.
- Knowledge and experience working in Agile / Scrum teams, including daily standups, retrospectives, demos/reviews.
- Experience with modern architecture frameworks and designs that support successful DevSecOps pipeline delivery.
- Ability to provide strategic technical leadership and lead by influence the creation of long-term strategy (e.g., more than 3 years) roadmaps in a virtual environment.
- Possess exceptional written and oral communication skills, can develop clear, concise, and logically written business communications, as well as deliver recommendations.
- Demonstrated effectiveness working in a complex, service-intensive, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to build strong relationships to leverage information and insights across key groups.
- Strong personal leadership, organizational, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Outstanding formal and informal presentation skills.
- Self-starter with self-confidence, enthusiasm, and strong customer service orientation.
- This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, daily, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Acting as a Senior Enterprise Architecture (EA), serving as a key leader in the EA organization, responsible for helping standardization appropriately position and support long term technology needs.
- Developing and delivering robust architecture guidelines for major initiatives like enterprise integration and ensuring that EA is delivering the needed support to key P&W stakeholders.
- Serving as a senior member of the EA organization, tasked with developing strategic technology roadmaps for all parts of P&W, assisting in the global Architecture Review Board process, and ensuring all of P&W understands the global EA approach and value.
- Providing STRONG leadership, overall technical direction to the technology and business teams, and developing and communicating guidance to stakeholders based on enterprise standards.
- Partnering extensively with all parts of the Pratt & Whitney stakeholders, to ensure the EA practice is meeting the company needs.
- Acting as a thought leader, operating across all of P&Ws Technical Platform Areas, and providing guidance on a global scale regarding Industry Best Practices for architecture.
