Requirements
- Licensed / Registered Architect
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program
- 10+ years of relevant architecture and design experience
- Must be proficient in Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Parametric Modeling, Sketch-up, 3D Studio Max, VRay, and Adobe Suite
- Knowledge of materials, construction techniques and building codes
- Strong knowledge of the design process
- Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development
- Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly
- A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Creative Initiator who brings curiosity, enthusiasm and a “can do” attitude
- Strong leadership, organization, communication, and relationship management skills
Responsibilities
- Provide project team coordination for finished plans, specification, and material selections; ensure design intent is incorporated into the construction documentation
- Produce accurate technical and contract documentation for construction of project
- Participate in construction administration, evaluate bids, conduct site visits, address technical issues, and maintain quality control during construction
- Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
- Utilize hand and 3D software renderings to communicate design concepts
- Demonstrate knowledge of the building code and zoning code to advise clients and team
- Manage client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape and civil consultants
- Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials
- Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges
- Maintain project manual and specifications
- Conduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI’s during construction
