Requirements

  • B.S. in an Engineering plus (+) Five (5) years of related experience
  • Knowledge of Biogas systems or relevant experiences, and Rotating Equipment
  • Excellent customer communications skills with experience working directly with EPC customers and end users on new plant design and development
  • Customer-focused and service-oriented
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Work authorization in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate enquiries and create proposals for Outside Sales Team and customers directly, utilizing Engineering Tools / Standards to select Vilter products to best meet customer need
  • Advance Vilter’s value proposition and technical advantages through frequent visits to key stakeholders, tradeshow attendance, and industry associations
  • Work cross functionally with other internal groups such as product engineering, marketing, product management, and sales
  • Work directly with key vendors to identify & design auxiliary equipment as needed to support main offer
  • Participate in New Product Development (NPD): Provide application/systems engineering recommendations to satisfy NPD gate tasks, represent the voice of the customers, determine field test requirements, support field test and review field test data
  • Prepare quotations based on project scope of supply and Vilter pricing standards
  • Provide visibility of opportunity progress by serving as key member of Opportunity Management Team, including diligently updating CRM system as needed
  • Other duties as business needs emerge

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, plus (+) Ten (10) years of related experience
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems
