Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation providing applications development within the financial or IT industry
- Five (5) years of experience must include: Coding and reviewing new systems or data flow onboarding and automation for raising timely alerts in case of major issues and performing data analysis for profiling large volumes of data, including finding patterns or trends for building data lineage using JAVA and PYTHON languages and parallel distributed processing – Bigdata framework
- Building new data controls, and monitoring and supporting data quality and data leakage issue
- Utilizing Big Data Technologies including Kafka, Elastic, S3, Spark, Spark SQL, Hive, Starburst, Sqoop, Impala, and CDH/CDP cluster management to perform deep dives on data
- Conducting data quality assessments to design and configure data quality rules for CDE (Critical Data Elements) attributes based on requirements from regulators and compliance
- Utilizing Scala, Java, Python, SQL, and Unix scripting and Git, Team City, Udeploy, AutoSys, and Jenkins for repository management, deployment, and scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Onboard applications in the Olympus Platform enabling controls and monitoring of platform stability
- Involved in the design, implementation, and delivery of End-of-Day (EOD) Marker controls by building new connectors in Step Framework
- Implementing platform guidelines for platform migration, and automating outbound reports for onboarding
- Support workflow for application users to make it easier to configure and launch applications with various resource allocations
- Add new controls/features to ensure completeness and validity of data being processed
- Monitor and provide support for data quality and data leakage issues from Olympus Platform
- Add orchestrators and connectors to Step Framework, implement controls and notifications for applications using job launcher
- Develop push notification for one-ops platform based on business requirement and scalability
- Develop data monitoring tools and dashboards for business users
- Build a surveillance system to find unusual stability and raise alerts on the Olympus Platform.
