Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL (DDL, DML, DCL, DQL)
- Working knowledge of Windows Server, Operating System Admin, CMD commands
- Strong analytical, problem solving, decision making, and documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve day to day production support issues. This role involves rotational on-call and occasional weekend support
- Maintain the health and safety of production systems and applications. Identifies risks and proposes actions to mitigate
- Work with development teams and business partners to provide input on best IT solutions to a business problem
- Collaborate with interfacing applications and third-party vendors to meet business requirements and project objectives
- Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, management, stakeholders, infrastructure teams and interfacing groups using a variety of techniques from initiation to closure
- Build knowledge in all aspects of the organization, the business and information systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior hands-on expertise with the Charles River application
- Trading life cycle knowledge
- Mainframe JCL, ITIL foundation, Windows Batch scripting, UNIX shell scripting, ServiceNow
