Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL (DDL, DML, DCL, DQL)
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server, Operating System Admin, CMD commands
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, decision making, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve day to day production support issues. This role involves rotational on-call and occasional weekend support
  • Maintain the health and safety of production systems and applications. Identifies risks and proposes actions to mitigate
  • Work with development teams and business partners to provide input on best IT solutions to a business problem
  • Collaborate with interfacing applications and third-party vendors to meet business requirements and project objectives
  • Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, management, stakeholders, infrastructure teams and interfacing groups using a variety of techniques from initiation to closure
  • Build knowledge in all aspects of the organization, the business and information systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior hands-on expertise with the Charles River application
  • Trading life cycle knowledge
  • Mainframe JCL, ITIL foundation, Windows Batch scripting, UNIX shell scripting, ServiceNow
