Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Applications Engineer or in a similar technical role.
- Strong understanding of software and hardware systems, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python or similar programming languages.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and support deployments.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions that meet their business needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions to educate customers about the features and benefits of our products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Analyze customer requirements and design technical solutions that align with their objectives and our product capabilities.
- Work closely with the development team to communicate customer feedback and participate in the enhancement of our products.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including user guides, installation manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
- Perform system installations, configurations, and integrations as needed to ensure seamless deployment of our solutions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and development, to ensure a cohesive approach to customer satisfaction.
- Participate in internal meetings to provide updates on project status, customer feedback, and potential improvements.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually enhance our offerings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with Teledyne products, including cameras, optics, and machine vision.
- Familiarity with software tools specific to Teledyne products, including Astrocyte, Sherlock, and iNspect.
