Requirements
- Associate’s degree and 6+ years of mechanical assembly, mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting/repair & overhaul (MRO), or Return to Service (RTS) of engines, modules, and components; OR 2-year post high school training and 6+ years of relevant industry experience; OR 8+ years of hands-on relevant industry experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this position; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access and handle sensitive data required to support our government and military programs.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of duties, including, but not limited to servicing, operating, maintaining, repairing and removing equipment.
- Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer specifications.
- Manage technical products, services logistics and provisioning, quantity surveying, and configurations to assigned customers.
- Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, recommending actions to company or customer representatives while assessing product needs in accordance with customer specifications.
- Work overtime or extended shifts as needed, with expected travel up to 25%.
- Complete a pre-employment FAA drug screen as part of the FAA Anti-Drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management
- Licensed Airframe & Powerplant (A&P Certificate)
- Powerplant experience with Pratt & Whitney Canada (PWC) engines
- Airframe experience with Pratt & Whitney Canada (PWC) powered aircraft
- Shop/Bench inspection, assembly and refurbishment experience
- Experience with the inspection of engine parts refurbishment, troubleshooting, repairs and return to service of engines, modules and components
- Heavy hangar/FBO/field experience – rigging, R&I, MRP’s, aircraft interface
