Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or other applied science
- Three or more years’ work experience developing C++ software
- Work experience developing and debugging networked Linux applications (TCP, UDP, Unix domain sockets)
- Good working knowledge of Linux-based operating systems
- Applicant must have a dynamic skill set, willing to work with new technologies, be highly organized and capable of planning and coordinating multiple tasks and managing their time
- The position will require attention to detail, effective problem solving skills and excellent judgment
- Ability to work independently with sensitive and confidential information, maintain a professional demeanor, work as a team member without daily supervision and effectively communicate with all groups of clients
- Able to work under pressure and accept supervision
- Regular and punctual attendance

- Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at the level appropriate to the project requirements of the position.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a large C++ signal processing codebase
- Provide technical assistance to internal and external users of the codebase
- Assist in periodic test and integration of the codebase into external systems
- Design, develop, configure, test, and integrate other software to meet requirements
- Other related functions as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, Java
- Experience with acoustic signal processing and/or machine learning
- Experience developing user interfaces, especially with Qt
- Experience with CORBA and other middleware
- Experience using git for version control
- Experience virtualizing and/or containerizing network applications
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0
