Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology or equivalent industry training and experience.
- Experience with laboratory testing in a GMP environment.
- People management experience, preferably in a laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Lead and provide support for the site Micro or Analytical lab personnel.
- Manage employees involving coaching and professional development.
- Coordinate the work of several analysts.
- Enable a robust quality culture, continuously improving consumer and customer quality.
- Lead analysts through the Lab Excellence Module implementation and sustainability.
- Coach analysts and support resources to comply with established standards.
- Understand, follow, and ensure compliance with QA and HS&E Key Elements.
- Actively support project validation needs.
- Integrate new projects and initiative standards into the organization.
- Manage daily laboratory operations including resource planning, methods transfer, and capability building.
- Own OOS, quality defects, and equipment issues to identify opportunities for testing efficiencies.
- Promote a cooperative working environment through effective communication and team building.
