Requirements
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Specialized training and bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience, or 14 years’ experience in lieu of degree
- Extensive knowledge of the USCENTCOM AOR, regional customs and courtesies, and U.S. protocol
- Exceptional writing, organizational and briefing skills
- Experience with military intelligence engagements
- Demonstrated ability to integrate as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior military and civilian government officials, managers, and co-workers
- Demonstrate a command of the English language with the ability to provide clear oral and written communication.
Responsibilities
- Develop, prepare, and present lesson plans, study courseware, practical application exercises, and AARs on military intelligence related subjects for engagements, exchanges, and affiliation seminars with USCENTCOM AOR partner nations.
- Perform consecutive interpretation and translation duties (to and from target languages); and provide document translation summaries, debriefing reports, document reviews, briefings, recommendations, and other services regarding Middle Eastern, Central Asian, and South Asian customs, courtesies, and religions for USCENTCOM J2 intelligence affiliation seminars and exchanges with partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- DLPT score of at least 3 in the identified target languages
- Knowledge of the USCENTCOM organizational structure
- Previous experience supporting a COCOM
