Requirements
- Undergraduate degree (Finance/Business/Economics/Analytics)
- Demonstrable experience in reporting, data and/or business analysis with an aptitude for creating meaningful insight
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel coupled with excellent analytical skills
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM is an asset
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a rapidly changing business environment
- Initiative to work autonomously
- Bilingualism required
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research to identify and pre-qualify VMS (Vertical Market Software) companies that align with our strategic acquisition criteria
- Navigate, analyze, interpret and mine our large Salesforce database of prospects for the creation of reports, metrics, KPI’s, and dashboards
- Develop and maintain comprehensive datasets on potential acquisition targets
- Provide valuable market insights, industry trends, and competitive analysis to support business development activities
- Oversee the health of the portfolio’s pipeline and work with the greater M&A team to ensure adequate prospective activity
- Create detailed profiles and actionable insights for prioritized targets
- Special projects & ad hoc reporting as required (financial analysis, financial modelling to support M&A and our business units)

- Prior business development, analytics and/or mergers & acquisitions experience
