Requirements
- Strong programming skills required (Python and SQL)
- A master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, or quantitative discipline
- Some understanding of derivative instruments (structure of vanilla instruments)
- Completion of, or working towards, the CFA, FRM or PRM designations is an asset
- Sharp eye for detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Improve accuracy and relevance of investment risk and attribution reporting
- Risk model construction (improving and developing risk models mostly using Python)
- Develop expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer across the firm
- Socialize findings with the team and contribute to the development of summarizing themes across mandates to executives
Preferred Qualifications
- Risk modelling experience would be an asset
- Instrument pricing experience would be an asset
- Passion for macro investment and analytics
