Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant, quantitatively oriented field (mathematics, statistics, computer science, business analytics, or similar)
- At least 2 years of experience with analytics or data science in a work or academic setting
- Excitement to become a subject matter expert on the digital sportsbook space, both from customer & product perspective
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid work environment
- Intermediate knowledge of statistics & hypothesis testing
- Practical experience with SQL/Snowflake and Tableau
- Curiosity to learn about a complex business and a desire to grow as an analyst
Responsibilities
- Monitor sportsbook performance and diagnose areas of opportunity
- Leverage data to enhance our measurements of product health & customer engagement, defining requirements for new datasets as needed
- Execute A/B tests and analyze their results in order to provide actionable, impactful recommendations for future product development
- Conduct analyst-driven ‘deep dives’ that explore broad topics and inspire new ways of thinking about our customers & product
Preferred Qualifications
- Model-building experience is a plus
- Python/R experience is a plus
