Requirements
- Completed Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or other related field
- 5+ years of experience working with import and export shipments to a variety of global countries
Responsibilities
- Gathering daily broker files and ACE data for adds to merged reporting file to be used by Finance
- Data-mining for escalations report out and further investigation
- Data-mining and investigations on specific requests coming out of Sales, Purchasing, other areas and summarize findings
- Investigate findings of the data-mining for accuracy, actions that need to be taken
- Post entry/duty recovery efforts; complete backlog of duty recovering filings and on-going opportunities with CBP as identified
- Create periodic reporting/presentations (weekly call with PUR, etc.)
- All other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven understanding of classifications/tariffs from a global perspective
- Understanding of FTA/COO certificates including eligibility status
- Knowledge of shipment/entry documentation, specific documentation requirements and record keeping requirements
- Any customs related certifications are also a plus
