Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development, specializing in designing, implementing, and optimizing large-scale, data-intensive frameworks, APIs, and tools.
- Proven proficiency in Python (required), with additional experience in Swift or Objective-C (desired) and at least one other object-oriented programming language such as C++, C#, or Java.
- Deep expertise in system architecture, development, testing, debugging, release, and maintenance, ensuring scalability and high performance.
- Over 4 years of experience in designing and architecting software tools and frameworks, driving innovation and excellence in quality.
- BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Responsibilities
- Designing and integrating scalable architectures, building essential APIs, frameworks, and libraries that empower Development and Evaluation teams to efficiently test and evaluate AI/ML-powered features.
- Owning requirements definition, including proof-of-concept development, and co-owning the roadmap for ML system evaluation platforms, ensuring seamless system integration and continuous improvement.
- Enhancing automation, improving model performance assessment, and streamlining workflows for AI/ML teams.
- Building, measuring, and optimizing software solutions to provide insights into platform changes, ensuring they drive innovation and enhance Apple’s AI-driven user experiences.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, research, and product teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
