Requirements
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, data analytics, cloud computing, edge computing, and related hardware and software solutions.
- Experience in sales or business development in the channel. Experience working in distribution is preferred.
- Experience working with solutions from IBM, Nvidia, Microsoft, and other vendors relevant to Arrow’s line card.
- Hands-on systems experience in data storage, virtualization, business intelligence, AI is preferred.
- Ability to design and recommend technical solutions for customer use cases and challenges.
- Strategic thinking and ability to align technology solutions with VAR and end-customer business objectives throughout different industries (healthcare, manufacturing, retail, etc.).
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Proven ability to simplify complex technologies for non-technical audiences.
- Self-driven and motivated to help VARs succeed in selling and implementing AI solutions.
- Adaptable and willing to learn about new products and technologies as they emerge.
- Collaborative mindset to work with diverse stakeholders (VARs, vendors, Arrow teams).
- Certification in AI technologies or related fields is a plus (e.g., Nvidia Deep Learning Institute certifications, Microsoft Azure AI certifications, IBM AI certifications).
Responsibilities
- Educate VARs about AI solutions on the Arrow line card, including products and services from IBM, Nvidia, Microsoft, and others.
- Provide technical training, certifications, and workshops to upskill VAR teams and ensure they are equipped to sell and deploy solutions.
- Collaborate with VARs to create tailored business growth plans, including identifying key industries and customer segments for AI adoption.
- Help VARs build solution offerings that address customer needs, leveraging AI technologies effectively.
- Work with VARs to design solutions that meet specific customer requirements, integrating AI technologies across cloud, edge computing, data analytics, and hardware platforms.
- Provide technical assistance and ensure solutions are optimized for end-users.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with VARs, understanding their business models, strengths, and challenges.
- Foster collaboration between VARs and technology vendors like IBM, Nvidia, and Microsoft.
- Support VARs in developing marketing strategies and campaigns for AI solutions.
- Co-create sales enablement tools, product collateral, and demos to help VARs effectively position AI solutions to their customers.
- Promote Arrow’s line card and ecosystem capabilities to VARs, ensuring they understand the breadth of offerings available.
- Drive adoption of Arrow’s tools, resources, and programs to simplify VAR workflows and improve profitability.
- Provide market feedback to Arrow and technology vendors regarding product needs, gaps, and opportunities identified by VARs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging AI technologies to keep VARs ahead of the competition.
- Track and report VAR performance metrics, including revenue growth, solution deployment success rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify areas for improvement and additional support needed to drive mutual success.
Preferred Qualifications
