Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, engineering, or a related field with a strong focus on AI and machine learning with 3+ years experience
- OR Master’s degree in degree in Computer science, engineering, or a related field with a strong focus on AI and machine learning with 2+ years experience
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python and libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX Runtime, and OpenVINO
- Familiar with AI frameworks
- Experience with designing software architecture, interfaces and abstraction
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and optimizing AI software with a focus on contributing to open-source deep learning frameworks like OpenVINO and ONNX Runtime, PyTorch
- Design and develop features to get Intel accelerators CPUs/GPUs/NPUs optimized in open-source AI frameworks
- Enabling and optimizing AI models on Intel accelerators
- Explore and expand the boundary of innovative technologies for peak performance
- Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and validate AI algorithms and models
- Support the development and refinement of AI applications, tools, and frameworks
- Conduct research on emerging AI technologies and assess their applicability in open-source environments
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting efforts to enhance performance and reliability of AI systems
- Maintain AI algorithms, core software components, and associated documentation
- Stay current on the latest advancements in AI frameworks, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve development practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Background with deep learning fundamentals, AI frameworks, graph compilers, etc.
- Solid understanding of AI concepts, algorithms, and methodologies.
- Experience in developing/optimizing deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX Runtime, OpenVINO etc.
- Familiarity with enabling or optimizing LLM and Generative AI workloads
- Track record of maintaining or contributing to open source projects.
