Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years Commercial Lending experience or high school diploma with 9 years of Commercial Lending experience
- 3 or more years of Commercial Loan Syndications experience
- 3 or more years of leadership experience
Responsibilities
- Serve as subject matter expert in complex lending end to end, including syndicated lending, foreign currency, Term Loan B, Mortgage Warehousing, loan trading and servicing for large corporate clients.
- Recruit, develop, and retain optimum talent to meet strategic initiatives and department goals. Perform salary administration, promotions, transfers, succession planning, training, coaching and terminations within established policies and guidelines.
- Analyze and resolve complex issues efficiently and effectively in accordance with Bank and industry standards.
- Provide support and oversight for servicing requests, transactions, activities, etc. within relevant service level agreements and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Minimize number and impact of operational incidents and near misses. Proactively manage team’s KRI’s/KPI’s and provide timely resolution and escalation to the management and risk partners when near misses/operational incidents do occur. Ensure lessons learned are shared with the larger Agency Services Team via staff meetings to ensure transparency & mitigate reoccurrence.
- Apply product and system expertise and think creatively to address nuanced, non-routine problems.
- Stay abreast of market updates, trends, and market initiatives impacting the syndicated loans business and cascade to staff via team meetings. When applicable, take part in working groups and conferences representing department and staff.
- Identify, own, and deliver process and organizational improvements to tangibly improve processing capacity and risk mitigation within the Agency Services Team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Loan B
- Knowledge of loan trading
- Experience with Agency Service Manager
- Syndication operations
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Extensive knowledge of complex lending systems such as: AFSVision, ACBS, SyndTrak, ClearPar
- Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Able to navigate and interpret complex legal loan documentation.
