Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics or related technical field and 5 or more years of industry or DoD/DoN experience.
- US citizenship and an active secret clearance (or higher)
- Experience with AEGIS Combat Systems.
- Strong background in systems engineering, test planning, and performance analysis.
- Proficient with MATLAB or equivalent for data analysis.
- Willingness and ability to travel to test and operational sites as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide systems engineering support for the development of new AEGIS and Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (ABMD) baselines.
- Analyze system performance data and recommend design or performance improvements based on tactical and operational insights.
- Develop and maintain MATLAB-based tools for data processing and analysis.
- Support certification processes, flight test missions, and configuration control boards through detailed documentation and status reporting.
- Assist with operational readiness reporting and baseline certification efforts.
- Contribute to improvements in data collection methodologies and analytical tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SCUS, SABE, GICA, and MMSP systems.
- Familiarity with Fiber Optic Delay Line (FODL) systems.
- Previous experience supporting Navy or DoD development and test programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly present technical findings.
- Proven critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to include Systems and Model Based Systems Engineering.
