Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Deal Desk, or a similar function such as Sales Operations, Procurement, Order Management, or Finance
  • Strong understanding of SaaS revenue recognition principles, pricing structures, and contract terms
  • Demonstrated experience working with CPQ and CRM platforms (Salesforce experience preferred)
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to partner effectively with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Customer Success teams
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for improving processes and creating operational efficiencies

Responsibilities

  • Advise the Sales organization on deal structures to maximize live and committed revenue while reducing deviation from standard terms by applying approval rules and policies
  • Coordinate pricing, quoting, and contract generation in partnership with Sales, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a smooth Order-to-Cash process
  • Take ownership in coordinating the internal support process with other business functions, such as Legal, to close high-value deals in an efficient and timely manner
  • Customize contracts for complex deals based on approved requests, ensuring consistency and attention to detail in customer-facing documents
  • Conduct final reviews and approvals of deals, with precision and speed, particularly around month-end and quarter-end reconciliation
  • Stay current and adaptable with evolving pricing models, product packaging, and policy changes—applying learnings to live deal cycles
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations and Business Systems to maintain accurate Salesforce records and minimize process disruptions
  • Maintain and improve key enablement resources, including order form templates, SOWs, MSA templates, approval matrices, and contract language libraries
  • Identify and share opportunities to streamline and scale deal desk processes, tooling, and cross-functional workflows
