Requirements

  • Two years of secretarial or basic administrative support experience that includes records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data
  • An associate degree in general office occupations and one year of experience with records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support and coordination to the Training Department
  • Create schedules
  • Provide reports
  • Enter training data into various computer programs
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the department.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using personal computers, entering and retrieving information to include electronic mail and spreadsheets.
  • Experience performing a variety of clerical functions at a technical or secretarial support level requiring decision-making within established laws, rules, policies and procedures.
  • Experience applying laws, rules, policies, procedures, and applicable Collective Bargaining Agreements
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of agency records.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constant interruptions.
