Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Required
- RN-Registered Nurse of California Required
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Required
- ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support Required
- Previous clinical experience in area of expertise, minimum 3-5 yrs experience in an acute care setting Required
- Must have working knowledge of TJC and CMS Standards
- Must have knowledge of emergency preparedness and response policies and procedures
Responsibilities
- Represents administration, directs facility operations, and supervises personnel in all departments when leadership/management staff is not present in the facility
- Serves as administrative liaison to all hospital departments, agencies, and physicians and provides functional guidance to all units
- Serves as a resource for decision-making concerning patient care services, non-clinical services, staffing and ensures that hospital policies and procedures are properly interpreted and applied
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN Preferred
- Prefer ED or Critical Care background
