Requirements

  • Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 4 years of experience in an Administrative role.
  • Experience extracting data from various sources to generate reports.
  • Project coordination experience.
  • Experience and ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
  • Experience conducting research and using advanced skills within computer applications.
  • Strong level of computer skills with high level of competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Managing multiple priorities from several people.
  • Accuracy/attention to detail.
  • Extremely well organized.
  • Exceptional Time Management Skills.
  • Diligent with follow up and follow through on tasks.
  • Project Coordination.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with general IT terms and concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare attractive, full-featured PowerPoints for executive presentations and assist in the consolidation of large presentations for internal meetings.
  • Manage multiple conflicting priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate all aspects of internal events including some smaller external client events.
  • Make travel and meeting arrangements.
  • Prepare reports and financial data, from raw data if necessary.
  • Function as initial, basic technical support.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, provide support materials, and arrange meeting facilities.
  • Update and oversee delegated tasks to ensure progress to deadlines.
  • Keep projects on schedule and handle administrative details for all projects.
  • Check deadlines on incoming requests and put preliminary work in play (engaging key resources, coordinating communication, etc.).
  • Research, draft, and abstract reports.
  • Handle phone inquiries as appropriate to knowledge level.
  • Assist in achieving department goals.
  • Order and maintain supplies for the Lincoln office.
  • Assist in general needs of the NBS offices and engage with the Nelnet facilities team as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications
