Requirements
- Master’s Degree
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Ability to think critically and solve problems independently
- Ability to be organized and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Blackboard, and CAMS
Responsibilities
- Teach course sessions in an organized way
- Provide time for reflection, discussion, and application of ideas or information
- Develop adaptive thinking and problem-solving skills in students
- Establish a positive, productive, and respectful classroom environment
- Hold all classes as scheduled and be punctual
- Enforce University policies and procedures
- Distribute the syllabus by the first class meeting
- Ensure students receive reasonable and timely assistance with course assignments/assessments
- Administer an exam or other evaluative activity during the scheduled final exam time
- Determine final grades as per the method prescribed in syllabi
- Engage in scholarly activities and creative endeavors
- Supervise laboratories, independent study activities, and off-campus learning
- Participate in shared governance and University events
- Design, develop and teach assigned undergraduate and graduate courses
